This ground floor used to be a grocery shop.

Creating the illusion of an extra window next to the entrance, we were able to provide a logical flow throughout the space without needing to place walls that would make everything feel smaller.

We heightened the kitchen island to work as a counter, dividing the functions of the room. The backside of the thick ceramic worktop houses power supply and doubles as a backsplash. The lines in the oak fronts hide the gaps between the doors and create a unity in form and function.

While we used different materials, textures, and details throughout this design, the space is in total harmony.

LOCATION: NEAR ANTWERP
REQUEST: INTERIOR - KITCHEN
MATERIALS: OAK, CEPPO DI GRE CERAMIC, FENIX, KRONOSPAN
